We walked on the beach for shells and things,
found many a jellyfish but thank goodness no stings.
We laughed about childhood and things in our past,
we also had tears because many things never last.
Never last long enough for our hearts to prepare
for what lies ahead and life going where?
But knowing the search will be worth it some day
because along the journey all we need to do is pray.
Pray for each other as we search through our lives
and stay close to the One who can help us survive.
Hunt for the treasures He has just for you
and I'll pray his blessings each day all year through.
Poem by: Norma Spiller
Be blessed today and every day as you find hidden treasures in life and in His word. Love and prayers.
Scripture: Proverbs 2: 1-6
My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
