When the day begins you may ask me why I have nothing to say right now.
So I go to the place where I feel safe and to Jesus I humbly bow.
Beginning the day with Him is a must to get the day started because
if we rush to begin without praying to him our life may feel like it's on pause.
Tell him good morning and thanks for the day that he has planned just for you.
Ask for his wisdom, and guidance today, knowing he'll see you through.
Then ask him to be with the ones that you love and for others who need him so much.
His hand will provide all the needs of our days and we will feel his gentle touch.
Spending time in prayer with Him, especially early each day
will help to give you the patience to know just what and how to say.
Say kind words to those you see and smile, be genuine in love
and know that you can't do this alone but only with his help from above.

Scripture: Psalm 145 (NIV)
I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever.
Every day I will praise you
and extol your name for ever and ever
