The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven.
Vital signs can warn us of a danger coming soon.
We listen to a forecast, morning, night and noon.
But we must be aware that even Jesus would not show
a sign to some who asked for one because they did not know.
Jesus knew they had decided already not to believe
and a sign could not convince to trust and to receive.
So he left them and continued to talk and teach to others
the lessons about faith and trust and how to love our brothers.
We must look for vital signs and always trust THE ONE we know is always with us from the rising to the setting sun, Jesus.
