A moment when my brain began to try and figure out what the E in e-mail was really all about — we're connected electronically by computers or by phones, just pushing the right buttons, you'll never be alone. But having a close connection with family and friends depends on going the extra mile to go see them or a card you send. Thinking about others, as you pray this week and asking God who you should contact, who is it you seek? Seek lonely shut-ins who could use your friendly face and make the effort to send a note or go see them and embrace. Embrace the person and the moment, share your time with them. Tell them you are sorry that they are so shut-in. Then bring your light God gave you to the ones who need it most. Pray for them in Spirit of the King and Lord of Hosts.
