A good Christmas movie, hot cookies and milk,
or maybe hot chocolate too.
Or maybe a game or a puzzle you like,
"Oh, what else can we possibly do?"
Shopping for presents and wrapping up tight,
choosing just the right ribbon or bow.
Cooking and baking and planning away
and or course always wishing for snow!
How will you spend time in these last few days
that lead up to Christmas day?
Will you be to busy to remember the child who was
born in a manger of hay?
Rejoice in the peace, joy and hope that He brings
and the love of this Christmas child.
Pray with sincere hearts for all to be blessed
by this babe so tender and mild.
