Poems I have written over past Christmas seasons
have a similar thread and have a similar reason.
I write about music and lights, peace on earth
and tell of the wonderful, miraculous birth.
So what can I say that has yet to be told
so that this Christmas poem won't be boring and old?
I'll remember that Christmas can be new each year
through the laughter of children and anthems I hear.
I'll spend time making memories with family and friends
over coffee and cookies until the day ends.
I hope you'll find ways to make this Christmas year
more special than ever, for Jesus is here.
Set time aside each day to study the Christmas story,
of the Wisemen, the angels and all of his glory.
Tell about Jesus and just why He came.
Tell the Good News and sing of His name.
His name is Jesus, Messiah and King.
Let joy fill this year let carols and bells ring.
Celebrate Jesus and know from the start
that Jesus is coming into our hearts.

Scripture Like 2:10,11
But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord."
O come to my heart, Lord Jesus,
There is room in my heart for Thee.
