We heard a sermon yesterday about JOY and being joyful even in trials and troubles.
Yet before the day is half gone we are sad, disappointed, and disheartened by something or someone.
So what should we do? It sounds so simple but prayer is the best way to combat depression and other feelings that can spoil a day.
Get in His presence and stay deeply connected with Jesus. I love to put on some uplifting Christian music too.
Just know that The Lord is near. Let's pray this week for each other to stay close to Jesus.
Philippians 4:4-7(NIV) Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Love and Prayers, Norma
