A song in my head I hear as I prepare myself today
to do the things I must, especially to pray.
I hear the words of Paul and Babbie Mason too
the goodness of The Lord and all that He can do.
I love it when my first thought tie in with what's in store
for me that day when I get up and then head out the door.
The Upper Room confirms that God is there for me
and helps me sing to Jaxen the message so that he
Can have the words of Jesus deep in his heart and mind
to help him grow in Jesus and help him to be kind.
Today let's pray for all things, the big ones and the small:
let's give our lives to Jesus,
let's give Jesus OUR ALL!
poem by: Norma Spiller
Focus: Pray for those who struggle and doubt. Pray they find the goodness that is only found in a relationship with Jesus.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
If you have time this week download the song Trust His Heart. What a blessing it is was to me especially when Jaxen and I listened to it on the way to school today. Have a wonderful week and be blessed. Love and prayers always to my UMW friends and others who may read this.
