With courage, honor, pride and faith they go into the fray.
We celebrate and remember them in many different ways.
some of us at work or play, some just stay at home.
And let us not forget that some feel so alone.
Many lost in battle fighting for our country true.
Many gave their lives to help save freedom for me and you.
Let's not take for granted in this country that we love
that true freedom comes from the Father in heaven from above!
Pray to Him to guard the ones that fight and serve this land.
And pray for families who lost someone, heads bowed and folded hands.
Thank God for all today in service today or long ago
and pray for all their families, His peace for them to know!

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trial of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perserverance.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
So we say with confdence, "THE LORD IS MY HELPER; I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT CAN MAN DO TO ME?"
