Monday starts our week of prayer and as we bow our heads.
Pray for those less fortunate, those who have no bread.
No way to have breakfast and no money for some food,
a pain inside that's aching and a desperate, lonely mood.
The homeless ones who wander on in search of what they need
our prayers may be the start to plant just one small, tiny seed.
A seed of hope that somehow God will send someone today
to help and feed them and let them know we will continue to pray.
Find a way to bless someone who has no where to go.
Pray they find a safe place and someone who really knows
just how to help and encourage them to know the Lord of ALL
will be with them thoroughout the day and help them when they fall.

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
